What you need to FTP:
1 - An FTP Program. We recommend:
For Mac: http://fetchsoftworks.com/
For PC: http://www.smartftp.com/
2 - Space on a remote server. GPP has an FTP site set up for all customer who would like to FTP their job.
3 - Compression Software. In order for files to transfer over FTP correctly, they must first be compressed. Compression software programs such as “StuffIt” or “WinZiP” can be found on the internet and downloaded for free.

How to FTP:
1- Install the FTP program.
2- Connect to the FTP host. You will need to enter the host address (ex. ftp.hostname.com), user name, password, and directory. You can get this information by contacting your Customer Service Representative.
3- Compress the file.
4- Upload the file. Once you get GPP’s FTP information (see #2 above) you will need to upload your files to GPP ’s FTP server.
5- Email or call your CSR and let him or her know your files are now available. It is essential that you confirm your files are on the FTP site so GPP can begin work on them as quickly as possible.
